IDEA Hall of Fame Nomination Criteria

All IDEA members wishing to present a nominee must use the official online nomination form.  This form includes information related to the nominee’s career and accomplishment.  The most important element of the nomination form is the narrative explaining the reason for the nominee’s consideration.

Following are general guidelines to be followed when submitting nominations:

1. Honorees should be nominated based on their service/inspiration/direction to IDEA and the industry, regardless of whether they are currently active in the industry.

2. Honorees should be nominated based on their accomplishments in at least one the following areas:

  • Creativity
  • Innovation
  • Inspiration
  • Achievement
  • Technical Merit
  • Administration

3. A nominee must have had a significant impact on the industry.

4. A nominee must have been active in the industry for at least 10 years.

5. Honorees should exhibit Character beyond Reproach.
