General Sessions include the Keynote Address, Golden Matrix Awards voting,
special guest speakers, presentations of relevance to the entire membership and
the opportunity to learn more about the innovations of our sponsors.
Small Group Sessions include meetings of IDEA’s six various breakout groups (baseball, basketball, football,
hockey, minor league, university) and over 40 seminars (covering over 25 topics) in the four
tracks being offered this year:
- Executive Institute: Designed with the game ops executive in mind, this track presents case studies that address budgeting, planning, personnel, and equipment acquisition.

- Game Operations: Everyone is always trying to improve his or her game presentation and this track offers creative tips and tricks for enhancing your programming.
- Graphics: In this mainly hands-on track attendees have the opportunity to gain expertise in various graphics programs resulting in programming you can use at your next event.

- Video Production: Cameras, lighting, shooting, editing, and technical direction...whether game day or pre-production; it's all here for the video professional.
User Groups offered by our Allied members allow for those currently using the featured product to work directly with the experts in that equipment to get the inside scoop on the latest and greatest features. Additionally, those interested in learning more about the equipment can hear what current users have to say.
Specialty Lunches introduce members of similar interests at a regular IDEA lunch event for an informal opportunity to network. This year's specialty lunches include facility, lacrosse and marketing.
