2010 Conference InformationSince 1983 the Annual IDEA Conference has been offering educational and networking opportunities for those involved in the event presentation industry.
Hosted by our Tampa-based IDEA member organizations, the 28th Annual IDEA Conference will be held February 14 - 17, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. A special room rate of $145 per night has been arranged for IDEA Conference attendees.

Conference Schedule
The event begins with the Opening Reception, February 14, where the Allied Member Showcase spotlights IDEA's Corporate Partners. A special welcome is planned before the opening for first time attendees. The week continues with educational and networking opportunities Monday through Wednesday.
Hosted by our Tampa area IDEA member organizations, the conference promises to be one of the best in IDEA history. The 2010 event will showcase the latest in the world of event presenation. Enhanced networking opportunities, as well as the Allied Member Showcase, affords attendees the opportunity to bring home the latest innovations in programming and technology.

Conference credentials serve as your admission ticket to all IDEA events and to the conference meeting area. Credentials must be worn at all times and must be presented upon request. Credentials are non-transferable. Conference attendees, as well as guests, must have proper credentials to be present in the conference meeting areas.
Guest Policy
IDEA members are welcome to bring family members or significant others to the 28th Annual IDEA Conference. Please be advised that in order to gain access to the conference area, everyone will be expected to have the proper credentials. Thus, you will be asked to provide information about your guests (name, age if children) to register them for credentials.
All optional excursions and networking events are open to guests and are charged at IDEA's cost. Any guest wishing to attend the Allied Member Showcase, classes, seminars or general sessions will be expected to purchase a full conference attendance package.
Attendance Policy
IDEA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse admittance to any person or entity for any lawful reason. In addition, IDEA reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate an attendee’s visit at any time and to require the attendee to leave the premises if an attendee cannot present the required IDEA issued credentials.
